Faith Temple’s 1st Youth Gang Culture Awareness Conference held on 27th & 28th June 2008.

Frederick was invited as a guest speaker for Faith Temple’s 1st Youth Gang Culture Awareness Conference held on 27th &28th June 2008.

As a representative of Mighty Men of Valour, Frederick was one of our most dynamic, powerful and profound presenters, offering a unique blend of related topics appealing to both adults and youths, with a serious underlying message.

The following are a few quotes from the youths:

Frederick’s presentation was very good, entertaining, thought provoking, informative, and easily understood by all.

Frederick’s delivery was interactive, he started off by inviting us to move closer to where he was; his appearance was that of someone in authority but when he began speaking to us, instead of at us, we knew he was ok. Majority of his questions were directed to us, so as youths we felt we were being listened to and that someone really understood us.

Frederick really connected with us, he knew the types of language we use, so we identified with his message’.

The general consensus is Frederick was able to bridge the age gap and language barrier, which allowed him to engage with the audience. He gained the trust of the younger people and offered an insight to the older generation.

The content of his presentation covered aspects of his affiliation with Men of Valour,

he highlighted issues and inadequacies within the Education System, such as, inclusion/exclusion practices, he offered his thoughts on a possible solution and way forward to bring about changes.

The overall conclusion of the conference is that the today’s youths have a variety of pressures and issues, some institutional, societal and familial, hence the call for parents to be more involved in their child/ren’s education and welfare, for better understanding and for everyone to be proactive in our own community to bring about changes to this current climate.

Frederick, thank you for your contribution and we pray that the LORD will continue to use you in His Kingdom for His Glory

Be Blessed, Be nourished, And flourish, Amen.

Fredrick Clarke is a man on a mission! A mission to make the world a better place, how do you do that?  By bringing about The Mighty Men of Valour and investing in people. In the time that I have known Fredrick he has more than demonstrated that he is a man of Integrity and that he is a man that stands by his word, truly unique in the current climate that we find ourselves in. He is a gifted speaker and an inspiration to both the young and the old I look forward to continuing a long and prosperous union with him and his organisation.

"Identity Workshops. I just wanted to say a big thank you for all your hard work during our Cultural Awareness month, in delivering excellent workshops for a wide range of our students.

We have received very positive feedback from both tutors and students following your sessions.... We had set this all up weeks ago as you know and it is a credit to you that the students then got fully engaged in the sessions.  I do hope you will continue to support us during this and other similar events in the future".

I write to thank you and your organisation for the honour and recognition bestowed on me at the recent Mighty Men of Valour Awards Ceremony.  Not only did the nomination come as a shock, winning the runner-up award was a greater surprise considering the calibre of exemplary gentlemen I was pitched against.

Truly, we make a living by what we get and make life by what we give. My wife joins me in thanking you for a most enjoyable evening."

“UnLtd supports and celebrates social entrepreneurs - people who have the ideas and the commitment to make a difference in their communities. Very often, such entrepreneurs see great potential in members of society who are stereotyped, discriminated against or unrecognised in other ways.

They have bold ideas that challenge established interests and can be controversial. From diverse range of backgrounds and projects, we find there are common characteristics among entrepreneurs: passion, determination, motivation and the ability to inspire others.

Might Men of Valour emphasises excellence, but this is not opposed to equality. Campaigners against discrimination do not struggle for equal access to mediocrity. By promoting a culture of excellence, Mighty Men of Valour can strengthen communities and hence foster co-operation across barriers of gender, colour and faith. Excellent role models go further than claiming rights, demonstrating maturity by meeting their obligation to their community.

At Unltd we passionately want Mighty Men of Valour to succeed, because then their impact will be felt throughout society.”

Thank you for taking the time to say “Thank you”.

Philippians 4:8 In conclusion, my friends, fill your minds with those things that are good and that deserve praise: things that are true, noble, right, pure, lovely, and honourable.
